“Lodging need during two day medical visit to area.”
The Springhill Suites in Winston Salem, North Carolina was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a two night stay due to medical appointments at Wake Forest Hospital. “Adequate, but below average...”
Quick stopover on our way to Boone from Cary. Not impressed with this Springhill Suites location. Not awful, but not great. It's tucked into a too-small location with another hotel. “Sufficient”
Lobby area was clean and staff very friendly. The sofa bed is a pull-out trundle. The problem with that is the mattress of the trundle was dirty and had urine stains. The person slipping on the sofa bed opted to put a sheet over the sofa and sleep on it. Breakfast was sufficient but I was sur… more
