Stayed here for a music convention. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows actually made me miss them once I got back home! Easy to access parking. Restaurant is on site, but not always open. (Fortunately there are numerous eateries in the area.) We found the hotel staff to be superbly helpful, especially those working in the River City Grille. Our convention package included the breakfast bar, which was well stocked and well maintained. Actually, the entire hotel was well maintained - no overflowing trash cans or other untidiness. And while I've read that some had issues with the thermostat, ours worked like a charm, keeping our room comfortable. Our double room included a desk and chair as well as a lounge chair and side table. These were VERY helpful when we both wanted a place to sit down, and that side table was large enough for writing or reading. We also asked for (and got, thank you!) a refrigerator, but no microwave to be seen, and that was unfortunate. Being slightly older, we don't always want to eat the large portions served, and being able to reheat them would have been useful. (Most hotels include a fridge and microwave these days; I'm unsure as to why this otherwise great hotel wouldn't have them. So the microwave was conspicuous by its absence.) Hotel also offers a rather large room for a fitness center, which was well-lit and well appointed. Stations inside weren't crammed together. Note that the tower in which the rooms are located is a wee bit of an indoor walk away from the front desk and meeting rooms. While I enjoyed the bit of exercise, folx with mobility issues may not find that quite to their liking.
