Very good location near the airport and downtown. Fairly standard Courtyard setup though renovations are underway. A pleasant pool area. The hotel is best defined by an incredibly engaging and professional staff whether housekeeping, breakfast crew, front desk and the Ops Manager. We were so impressed with the breakfast selection and the wonderful team members serving it.

My experience was very good, with a few caveats. Firstly, in terms of location, it's a tale of two cities: on one hand, it's literally down the street from the airport (the drive is barely five minutes away with stoplights and mild traffic). On the other hand, it has a bit of an industrial park feel with very little in terms of restaurants or stores within easy walking distance (which I would qualify as ten minutes or less). I visited for a conference for several days while the hotel was undergoing renovation. The main entrance was closed down and there were a few other related issues, but the inconvenience was minor. The room was in very good condition, and clean. The bed was comfortable. I had a beautiful balcony view of Mount San Jacinto, which was a nice plus. The hotel has a restaurant with limited hours, but I couldn't get the website menu to work; I had to walk down and found laminated copies to peruse. I ate one dinner there and found it pretty delicious. Counter service was friendly. There is a shuttle service both to the convention center (at least during our conference) and to the airport, but despite asking ahead or depending on a given time schedule, the dependability for pick ups or departures were hit or miss. Speaking of the convention center, it's not the "five to seven minutes" walking distance given by the front desk, but more like 15 minutes at a brisk pace. The time difference in 100+ degree heat is significant to note. One thing to point out is that the faucet water has a special pressure / filtration that makes it initially milky in appearance. A sign in the bathroom explains this, but it's initially a bit of a shock. One of my biggest complaints was the water pressure and temperature of the shower. Perhaps because of water conservation measures, the pressure was just okay, but the water temperature never seemed to get better than "very warm," despite whatever time I took the shower. I can't remember the last time I wasn't able to have a hot shower in a hotel. Overall, despite a few qualms, I appreciated the hotel and felt safe, and could recommend it to others.
