Up front, let me say that this property is generally a good stay, convenient, friendly and the rooms are clean and decently comfortable. Popular with long-stay contractors and the car show crowd, there are many regulars. Safe location with a very friendly and accommodating front desk team. So, why the low rating? I stayed at this property dozens of days when I first arrived in town as a geo-bachelor for a new job (2022) It was definitely a 4plus back then but has clearly dropped a step. My wife and I just completed a 51 day stay on our way out of town for a new assignment. At check in we were told housekeeping refreshed rooms ever other day and cleaned them fully once every week or so- that means we should have had some service at least 25 times during our stay but housekeeping simply didn’t come about 25% of the time. This left us leaning on the very kind evening FD clerk to take our trash and provide fresh towels and other necessities like toilet paper and dishwasher detergent (remember we were actually living there as the property was designed- not just staying overnight). When housekeeping, which was vastly understaffed, did come, they were hurried and not thorough, often missing one of the garbages or forgetting to replace kitchen towels. The public areas of the property also suffered as housekeeping tried to keep up with the rooms. The gym rarely had towels and the equipment was not cleaned beyond the cursory wipe downs from clients. The pool was properly maintained but the deck area was not kept us as evidenced by blown in leaves present throughout our stay- hallways were not maintained with a vacuum. To their credit, management is aware and trying to hire- but it was discouraging at times for us long stayers. I’d stay for a night or two but might look for other long stayers options until staffing is restored and they can keep up with expected service levels. Big shout out to the Front Desk ladies who bore the brunt of our requests and concerns and always provided support with a smile

This location is very congested with truck stops & many tractor trailers in the immediate vicinity. It is close to interstate access. This location is very congested with truck stops & many tractor trailers in the immediate vicinity. It is close to interstate access. Our room was a two bedroom two bath unit with living room and small kitchen on the third floor. The staff is very polite. There is definitely an odd odor in the hallway,noted in other reviews.(They need to add some light scent to the filteration system as it is constantly present in hallways) .I have read previous reviews that stated the same issue. Apparently the staff is noseblind to it.As to the cleanliness of the room, it goes downhill from here.The beds ,bedroom & bathrooms were clean & comfortable. .The living room was clean.But the kitchen has been ignored ..Refrigerator was clean inside but had a layer of dust on top. The cabinet doors were dirty.The shelves inside cabinets were dusty.The glasses had greasy smudges o them . I had to wash them as well as the other dishes we used .A colander was on top shelf that was still dirty. The toaster crumb tray was literally gunked with greasy crumbs.I had to scrape it clean. We requested room service,but only towels replenished & trash removed.Floors or bathrooms were not cleaned. Spoke to front desk & explained that I had even left a tip for housekeeping but they were not doing their job.We are very neat when staying in hotels so this should have been a fast clean up for that person. Upon returning from our day out we returned to a cleaned room.Thank you front staff for fixing that issue. The laundry room is small but clean with only two washers & dryers( takes credit cards only) so you have to time it right to get a machine. The fee for parking is just a gouge though. The free breakfast is mediocre,( compared to Hilton Homewood Suites),but it will get you through till lunchtime .We bought our own groceries at Aldi & WalMart about 10 mins away from hotel.The hotel served its purpose for us as it was central to all our activities .It was quiet in the room .(We always get rooms away from elevators ) Also, the worst thing in the room is the couch .It was VERY uncomfortable just sitting on it & would be a punishment if someone had to sleep on it . Shame on you Marriott. All other issues were minor maintenence issues in the pool area,ie,tiles laying on ground ,dirty tiles on edge of whirpool. Of course I got the standard BS letter from management that they would pass this on to their staff but we all know they do not or reviews would reflect the changes have been made .Our cost to stay was $1550. So its up to you fellow travelers to keep telling the truth. Safe travels !
