“Looking forward to returning”

Had a great time! The property is in a perfect location right on the water, both of our rooms had gorgeous views. Right next to the hotel is a boardwalk with food stalls, and shopping. Our 4 year old loved it! The room was clean and well appointed - the bed was comfortable. We will be back!

“Perfect Location!”

The location can’t be beat. The river and city views from our room were nice. We liked being within walking distance to many museums. The location can’t be beat. The river and city views from our room were nice. We liked being within walking distance to many museums. We especially enjoyed the Independence Seaport Museum and the American Revolution Museum. Dining at Moshulu, the historic tall ship, was a delight. The hotel’s coffee shop and bar were also a treat.

“Overall a good experience”

Great location and a nice overall stay! The front desk staff was friendly, and I really appreciated being able to check in a little early. The biggest issue was housekeeping. Great location and a nice overall stay! The front desk staff was friendly, and I really appreciated being able to check in a little early. The biggest issue was housekeeping. Our room had no toilet paper when we arrived, and despite letting the staff know, none was ever brought to us. Traveling with a family of four, that’s a pretty significant oversight. To make matters worse, the restroom by the restaurant/bar was also completely out of toilet paper. Our room’s lotion dispenser was empty as well. While the lotion wasn’t a big deal, the repeated lack of basic supplies was disappointing. Other than the housekeeping issues, we had a nice experience. With a little more attention to the basics, this would have been an excellent stay.

We stayed at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing for two nights over the weekend and had mixed experience overall. Our guest room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful river view. The shower had good water pressure, and the public areas of the hotel were well maintained. The location is excellent, with a great neighborhood that’s easy to explore on foot. The restaurant staff at both breakfast and lunch were friendly, attentive. The indoor pool is small I think maybe only 12 feet long and crowded during our stay, no need to go. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The breakfast buffet was just average, with limited variety, although the made-to-order omelets were good. Unfortunately, the sauna was out of service during our visit and cannot find any person to check. I also wanted to use the gym after checking out, but I wasn’t allowed access because my room key had been deactivated. It would be a nice gesture if the hotel could provide departing guests with temporary gym access, as some other hospitable hotels do. Hotel has potential to be a stunning place. Plan to stay another 2 nights in August so hopefully we will see some improvement next time.
