“Outdated furniture”

I did not like the old furniture styles and mismatched colors in my unit in the Sable building. However the 2 bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was centrally located to all amenities.

the resort was not on the beach. The activities did not all take place when they were scheduled. The staff were friendly.

This was our third trip to Wyndham Palm-Aire. We always book the 2 bedroom apartment and, in the past, we have always stayed in the Royal building. The pool is nice and the people who work there seem very nice. This time, we stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, in the Areca Building, and the room was not what I expected. The freezer did not keep food frozen. The washer dryer combo was very old. Many floor tiles were cracked and while the sofa was comfortable, the chairs were not. The best thing about that room was the beds were very comfortable. For some reason, we only received 4 towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 wash clothes, (2 in each bathroom) for a family of 4. Also, this unit had 1 roll of toilet paper in each bath and 1 roll of paper towels. We were staying for 7 days. The sales pitch is and has been ridiculous. It's very forceful and they do not like to let you leave without some sort of purchase. The first time we stayed at Wyndham, I strongly refused. The second time, we did it and I regretted it. This time, my husband agreed to go, and we went. Our meeting was Sunday 4/28/2024 @ 8:30am. It was the same sales pitch, and I can't remember the lady's name or her supervisor's name, but at one point during the sales pitch, I was looking out the window and not at this man. He was doing his best to entice us to buy in as owners and the lady asked, "What is wrong with you? Does he look like a monster? Is that why you won't look at him?" to which, he chimed in and added, "Yes, why won't you look at me when I'm talking to you?" With that I looked at him and he said, "Good! You need to give me the respect I deserve. When someone is talking to you, you look at them." I didn't tell him what I wanted to tell him- that WE were not having a CONVERSATION....HE was speaking with my HUSBAND. However, my husband said he thought they were out of line with the comments made and we would not purchase anything. We got up to leave and they were very rude. One more thing, the Arecas building has 2 elevators. One day, they had workers replace the flooring in one elevator. It took all day and it was a big inconvenience with families checking in and checking out and other families trying to go about their business and leave or return to their room, and housekeeping uses those elevators too. We were on the 5th floor and with a toddler, so climbing 5 flights of stairs wasn't an option. We met many nice people this visit. Our daughter had a blast at the pool, mini golf, and playing under the vollyball net. She met so many kids and had so much fun. Watching her play, was the best.
