We enjoyed our Sheridan visit. This was the 2nd time we chose to stay at this BW. The staff we spoke with all were helpful. We learned about their favorite spots to visit as well as some fine restaurants for dining....there are many. The bronze art we sawwhile walking throughout town provided an education about town as well as a nice moment to stop & look for more. We ventured over to visit Dayton, Wyoming artist David McDougall at his Painted Skull Gallery right of Hwy 14 West. The detailed humor in his work was everywhere we looked. Don't miss an opportunity to meet this artist's & his "staff".

“Somewhat expensive for basic accommodation but great location and service”

Great location with easy walking access to the main original town centre. The hotel itself is pretty old and basic. I'd have given it 3 stars but made it 4 due to the excellent service we received the whole 2 weeks stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms well serviced and when I reported a block drain it was fixed the following morning. Don't bother with the breakfast if you have other options. The room itself was fine but over-priced for quality at around $300 Australian per night - I was expecting something a little better. However, the room was clean, neat and tidy. The airconditioner was old and clunky and very noisy but mostly worked during a heatwave though there were periods were it would just not come on no matter how the thermostat was set. The fridge was cold but an old banger that vibrated noisily whenever it came on enough to wake you. TV and fittings were great. The room seemed to lack a central light that might actually light up the room - just lamps and one dim light by the window. The wifi was painfully slow and little use. The bathroom was nice and clean but the shower/bath unit is just a plastic prefab dropped in so pretty basic and meant that the shower head was far too low to stand under. Our room looked out onto the alleyway behind - it's perfectly clean and neat but nothing great to see apart from the occasional deer! Windows opened thankfully but clunky and hard to move. Great that ice machines are provided and coin operated laundry was fine. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel but just don't think the price quite equates to the standard you might expect. I moved to this hotel suddenyl after discovering a cheaper alternative up the road was a dive so the place was something of an oasis from my perspective. Don't try the sky bridge in 100+ weather heh heh !!!

We stayed at the Sheridan Center for a week in July. Room was comfortable & clean, but shows signs of wear. The new lobby location had just opened, and plans for the lobby were posted. However, at the time of our stay, comfortable seating areas were not available, and breakfast was below other Best Western hotels we have stayed in. Check-in staff was good, but through the week, some staff were less than helpful. I hope these issues will be resolved when the lobby remodel is completed as we love the downtown location & look forward to the completion of the remodel & update of rooms are completed.

“Needs improvement”

There is no pool! You have to go 2 blocks away to the YMCA which closes at 8pm. The place is worn and needs paint and refurbishment. The bathroom is dated with loose fixtures. There is no pool! You have to go 2 blocks away to the YMCA which closes at 8pm. The place is worn and needs paint and refurbishment. The bathroom is dated with loose fixtures. The toilet handle needs to be held down to flush it. The door has damaged paint. The room had front and back doors with outdated chain locks which did not secure the door. Rear door sticks when it's opened. Positives were good beds and decent breakfast. The staff were friendly. This rating could be better if they kept things updated. I would not stay here again.
