Not on a freeway, not on Main Street, not the newest and not the largest, but this spotless property screamed Southern Charm. From going out of the way to answer every question, to providing a extra stack of crisp linens, blankets and pillows. In the squeaky clean room the attention to minute details was apparent at every turn. Tiny things such as extra towel sets, each one folded into attractive pockets and fan shapes. They packed grab and go lunch and snack bags for guests planning to attend a nearby Marine Corps graduation. The type of things one would find in a more expensive hotel. Give this place a try, we are glad we did.

This beautiful brick hotel is just the right size for this charming South Carolina location. The room was clean and perfectly appointed. The staff were friendly and professional and represented southern hospitality at its best. Starting each morning with a delicious breakfast including delicious pastries, eggs and all one could want was such a wonderful way to start the day. I can’t wait to return to Beaufort and will definitely be staying at this fabulous hotel!

“It was fair”

we stayed 12/30/25 to 1/1/26, staff at front desk was great, Katrina, Lois, savannah even Kent . Small lobby but they had coffee , could have used creamers, not much on tea selection. we stayed 12/30/25 to 1/1/26, staff at front desk was great, Katrina, Lois, savannah even Kent . Small lobby but they had coffee , could have used creamers, not much on tea selection. Free breakfast was good and great kitchen staff. But paying $10 a day for parking , is a scam. There's plenty of room to park, But they try to squeeze more money out of you, no reason for it. Park across the street of the hotel , much cheaper. Frist the hotel is older , our room could have used a updating, stain on the carpets, a dehumidifier in the room for dampness, which had a slight smell. Bathroom could have been cleaner and a door stop at the bottom, to keep the door from closing, had to bend over every time you wanted to shut the door. again great staff, nice location, a bit pricy and being pushed to pay for parking, not cool. Next time may have to consider another more modern hotel with free parking.
