My fiancée and I stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Memphis Downtown from December 26–29, 2025 to explore more of Memphis. The drive from Crystal Springs, Mississippi took just over three hours. When we first approached the area, the neighborhood looked a bit rough, which made us a little unsure at first—but once we arrived at the hotel, we realized the location was actually very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance of Beale Street, and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, including the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum, and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. Even if you drive, all of these locations are only a few minutes away. We parked in the hotel’s lot and checked in at the desk, even though I normally use the Hilton Honors app. The desk associate was professional, friendly, and efficient. One small drawback is that valet parking is only available for a fee or to Diamond Members, and other guests must park around the perimeter of the building. It’s not a huge problem, but it is worth noting for travelers with cars. We stayed in the 1 King 1 Bedroom Suite. The TV welcomed me personally with “Welcome JoaQimein,” which was a very nice touch. The suite was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a full kitchen, living area, and bedroom. The living room area was large enough for us to have a movie night, and the setup made it feel more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room. Towels, linens, and kitchen supplies were all in excellent condition. Amenities at this hotel include a small fitness center, a breakfast area with a variety of options, and a common area for working or relaxing. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. Being downtown, the hotel is close to restaurants, nightlife, and attractions, which made exploring Memphis easy and fun. We walked to Beale Street multiple nights and enjoyed the live music and atmosphere. Overall, our three-night stay was enjoyable, and we would definitely return. This hotel is perfect for couples, families, or solo travelers who want a comfortable suite with a convenient downtown location. — JoaQimein A stay fit for a king… and a queen as well.

Stayed here on NYE with the kids and had a few friends stop by on NYE after we saw college hoops at the arena downtown. The hotel was within walking distance to the arena and to see the duck walk the following morning. The space was clean and big enough for a family of four and two friends to hang out during the evening. The swimming pool is small, but the girls and I played ball and had fun. The gym is small as well, but if you get there early, you can do your routine or grab a treadmill. Breakfast was average, but you can make a waffle or grab a snack to take on the go with a coffee or tea. There were more expensive choices for the money, but this was a great fit for my family and was within budget.
