“Very nice place clean room great staff”

Very nice place rooms are good size for two people. They do have two pools and two hot tubs. They have a very good continental breakfast. It’s a very large room of sitting inside and out staff was very friendly room was very clean. Looking forward to coming back.

Stayed 4 nights in a pool building room in March. Some things were good and some things were not. We booked an indoor pool room but weren’t quite sure what it meant (most doors open to outside and we wanted an interior building room). When we checked in, the clerk asked what floor we wanted, but we weren’t sure and we asked for more information, but she wasn’t helpful or able to answer our questions. Our entire check in process was not great at all but sometimes that’s just the way it is. So we picked the first floor. At first, when we got to the room, we thought we made a mistake. Our room opened directly onto the indoor pool. It was loud and smelled like a pool. Once we got into the room, it was still noisy, but it really ended up being okay. The door and window blocked a lot. The pool closes at 10:00/10:30, and we had no trouble sleeping. The chlorine smell, while there, really wasn’t too bad at all. And it also made the room feel less “dry.” The room was large with wood tile floors and an electric fireplace. There was a partial wall that was just a little too small with two queen beds and a nightstand in between, so one person (we were 4) had to shimmy along the wall to get in and out of the bed. With 4 adults, it might be an issue. Behind the wall, was a very long vanity/mini kitchen and a small open closet. Sink at one end and at the other, a good sized mini fridge with one of those tiny freezers (that actually kept things frozen when we turned down the fridge thermostat), a microwave, and small coffee maker. It was really nice having the divided spaces for a little dressing privacy. There was also a long dresser, a small table with 2 chairs, and lots of floor space. The room had no windows to outside and it was clean. The indoor pool and hot tub were great. Always people in it and having a nice time. Plenty of loungers and tables and chairs, but they frequently ran out of pool towels. If you notice it’s low, make sure to call the front desk to let them know. The outside pools looked good too. Breakfast was challenging. It was basic, limited offerings (no alternative milks), same each day, and in an area behind the hotel. It was too small of a space, a weird setup, and packed. The small staff had a hard time keeping up and the hotel was not full at all. If the weather was better, there are some small tables outside that would have helped, but it was snowing and cold while we were there. There are signs all over suggesting you go as early as possible and it was told to us at check in too. We went a couple different times, and it didn’t seem to make much difference.
