Stayed at The Walden Hotel in Pigeon Forge and overall had a great experience. The rooms were awesome—clean, comfortable, and felt a step above what you usually get in the area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference, and the breakfast was decent with enough options to get your day started. The only downsides were that one of the elevators was out of service during our stay, which caused a bit of a wait at times, and the toilet paper…well, let’s just say it was about as thin as it gets. Aside from those minor issues, it was a solid stay and I’d definitely consider coming back

The hotel was conveniently located near the attraction I was attending, which made getting around very easy. One of the highlights was the included hot breakfast, which featured pancakes, eggs, and sausage or bacon. However, on my last day, the hot breakfast was unavailable. It seemed like the breakfast staff may not have shown up, and both another guest and I were unable to get the hot breakfast. That was disappointing, especially since breakfast was included in what I paid for. Aside from that issue, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming.

The hotel had friendly staff and a complimentary breakfast. The rooms offered a balcony that we didn't use. The rooms were clean. The hotel itself wasn't noisy, but you can hear outside car noise from the room. I didn't find the outside noise to be too loud for a sensitive sleeper. The rooms also have a refrigerator and wifi. There is plenty of parking. We were busy with our vacation, so we never had an opportunity to tell the front desk... We arrived to our room that have no hand soap at the sink. We had to use the shower washing gel to watch our hands for our three night stay. The tissue container was also empty, so we had to use toilet paper to blow our noses. Our room was serviced each day of our stay. It appears there was no checking by the service staff if we had the normal bathroom amenities. We suggest the hotel to have the service staff to check there is soap and tissues in the bathroom when servicing the room.
