Frequently asked questions about Prospector Accommodations

  • What are the top guest reviews of Prospector Accommodations?

The top reviews of Prospector Accommodations are: I actually booked this place without seeing any of the reviews on here as I needed a last minute place for a work trip to the Sundance film festival. My choices were limited (due to late booking), so didn't have any reasonably priced options. Having ready the reviews here I am somewhat surprised, as I didn't get anywhere near as dire an experience as some have had. Firstly, the place is located near a mini strip-mall with a number of decent eating options and is about a 20 minute walk to downtown Park City... I didn't do any skiing, so have no idea if its close to any of the slopes... but it was wonderfully located for my needs (getting to and from the multitude of screening halls for the festival. The room was a small studio-style apartment, with an open plan, but clearly defined areas for kitchen, lounge and bedroom. There was a small table, ideal for eating at and a separate en-suite bathroom. The place looked rather dated and twee... homestyle furnishings and linens that was more akin to staying in an Aunt's spare room... but considering it was -20 degrees outside and waist deep in snow, I found it rather charing and homely. There was even a hearth for a real fire (though no wood or coals were provided nor (more worryingly) any instructions on using it. That said, it wasn't needed, as the room was perfectly warm. The bathroom was equally dated and basic, but perfectly functional and clean. The only issue I have with the pace was that it was loaded with static energy... when getting into bed a blue glow would emanate from the bed coupled with the sound of a family of chirping crickets - it was producing so much static. I was quite disconcerting and, at times, shockingly painful. This aside, for a few days, I'd be content to stay here again..
