This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel with my employer. I realize this hotel chain doesn't hold a candle to Marriott, Hilton, Omni, and some other nicer brands, but overall it's not bad. My favorite thing about this hotel is the bed! Super comfortable. Also, I think the ambiance, color schemes, and amenities are pleasant. Breakfast met expectations for a free breakfast; it wasn't cooked-to-order but it wasn't motel continental either. I'm happy to see the a/c and heater work very well. A big plus that I didn't realize at first is that streaming entertainment is available. My one recommendation for improvement is the lackluster welcome. It was just one employee (everyone else was very nice), but when it's your first impression, it makes all the difference. This ultimately wouldn't keep me from wanting to come back. Again, the hotel is really not all that bad for a smaller chain. It is very much a boutique hotel with its own personality. The bedding, furnishings, decor, and location make up for what the hotel lacks in terms of chain size and the poor first impression. In speaking with colleagues, everyone seemed generally impressed with the hotel.

“An elegant stay”

I was tremendously impressed with this hotel. Honestly, it was a nicer stay than a standard Hilton or Marriott for sure. I was tremendously impressed with this hotel. Honestly, it was a nicer stay than a standard Hilton or Marriott for sure. The room was well appointed (including the bathroom), the atmosphere was professional, the cleanliness was notable and the noise level was low. The service was excellent as well. And it was within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops. I would love to stay here again.

what a pleasant surprise! The Archer was a 5 star experience as soon as we entered the property. A warm greeting, beautiful and tasteful decor, inviting atmosphere. Our room was easy to get to, welcoming and surprisingly contemporary and comfortable. From the enticing Nespresso pods and glass coffee cups, to the books warmly displayed on the nightstand, it was homey and so very relaxing. Wonderful amenities in the bath products, clean shower the most comfortable King bed. Located is a fun and retailed fill space, we will be back. Treat yourself to this hotel, you will be so glad you did.

This is the first time I booked a boutique hotel, and Archer Hotel in Falls Church, Virginia did not disappoint. My husband and I had a pleasant experience - from checking in very late, we arrived around at 4am, to being granted a late check-out upon our request, and the special touches in the guest room, and comfortable bed. It was really a pleasant experience. Mohammed, the front desk staff, was very helpful when we checked in late; and so was the front desk staff when we checked out (sorry I forgot his name). We stayed in a studio king suite. The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The local treats and notes added special touch. I also love that they provide room slippers. The hotel was located in Mosaic District - a shopping/dining district. It was convenient because you could just walk to restaurants and shops. There was a Target in the area which was convenient when you need to get some groceries. There was a park in the area. Walking around during day time and night time was nice. The only thing that could be improved, which is minor, is the breakfast selection. Compared to big chain hotels, there weren't a lot of choices. We were hoping there would be more meat breakfast items like bacon and sausgages, but they only had eggs. My husband is on ketogenic diet, so having more proteins/meat would be nice, but this wasn't a deal breaker for us. They also had several assortment of pastries, fruits, breads, oatmeals, cereals, and yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. Our room smelled had a plastic like smell, not a big deal for us. It wasn't unpleasant, but you could smell it when you enter the room. I think it was the smell from the blinds. Again, not a big deal for us so we didn't report it. Suggestion - putting a room diffuser or incense in the room would be nice.
