I loved the atmosphere and the hotel beautiful! They’ve done an amazing job with keeping it as close to its original design as possible. They’ve staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the valet staff were superb. They’ve location to Lumen and T-mobile park is fantastic, as well as Union Station and the International district. Will definitely stay again!!

“Slow start but good finish”

We booked here due to the amenities and location at the beginning of the year. We had purchased tickets to the Ed Sheeran concert on August 1st. We booked here due to the amenities and location at the beginning of the year. We had purchased tickets to the Ed Sheeran concert on August 1st. At the time I called and inquired about early check in so that we could get to the venue early potentially.I was told that I was on an “unofficial” list (not guaranteed) but this “list” (attached to my reservation) would give me a better shot at getting early check in. This is how it was presented to me and how I understood it at the time. I was told to call back the week of the reservation and I would be able to lock it in. I called the Monday before the concert/reservation and spoke with a front desk person. They said the employee I spoke to in February no longer worked there and that I the information I was given about early check ins and lists was incorrect. I was asked to call back early AM on the day of the reservation. I did that and was told to call back in a few hours as the hotel was still too busy. I called again as directed. Again I was told I could not get early check in. She took my number and said she would text if there were any openings. Ultimately we were able to get in about 1.5 hours earlier than the normal check in time. When my daughter and I checked in the front desk staff made a comment about me “calling a lot” but did apologize for any confusion. I did not respond to the comment but thanked her and we got checked into our room. I “called a lot” because I was advised to by the staff at the hotel. I requested early check in because my daughter is a big fan of Ed Sheeran and wanted to head over to Lumen field early to look at the merch. We just wanted a head start— that’s all. I don’t really follow what’s going on in Seattle; and only later found other big events were occurring on the same day. So, the communication was not the best initially and was a little frustrating. This is why I settled on a 4 rating. Everything else made this stay really good and did not deserve a 3. But with how my interactions (and frankly some of the curtness) with the front desk staff—didn’t rate a 5.
