I stayed 2 nights at the front of my trip through the NW and at the end. I had two different rooms. First of all: WOW. What an understated hotel. If you've ever been to Japan, you know what hospitality feels like. This is a Japan related (not sure how) hotel. Most of the rooms have deluxe bidets with heated seats (and water if you prefer), with various methods of cleaning. Let's just say those annoying nightly trips to the bathroom were less so. I had a deluxe room with lounge access. The lounge no longer is on the top floor (sad), but in a nice room off reception area. They have a fantastic breakfast and a welcoming happy hour each evening. The rooms: the first night I had a large room facing south. It was a mesmerizing view of I-5. I was on the 28th floor. The second night, I somehow "downgraded" to a double room which was very tiny. It was right off the elevator and the bed was right next to the door with light ALL AROUND the perimeter of the doorway. Avoid this room. I didn't like it, and should have gone down immediately to the front desk to change. They would have accommodated me, but I didn't notice it until the lights were out. Note to self: always see a floor chart for location and size. Top Tip: If you like a wonderful view: ask for the south side of the building (but you will hear the lull of traffic all night). If you like/need quiet: ask for north side. The Light Rail system (which you can take directly from SeaTac to downtown Seattle), is located 3 blocks downhill from the hotel. Great when leaving, a schlep going TO the hotel. It was a hill climb. MOD pizza is directly across the street, but there are a myriad of eateries within walking distance. Will I stay here again? Absolutely.

“Comfortable Accommodations”

I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the convention center. This hotel was affordable and had good ratings. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable. I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the convention center. This hotel was affordable and had good ratings. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable. We opened the blinds and took in the Seattle surroundings. My favorite part of the room was the Toto Washlet that keeps the toilet seat warm. There are many bidet/ control settings as well. Housekeeping was kind and did a good job with trash and towels. Room is clean. Be advised there is a fee to park your car, which is common for hotels in major downtown areas. When you walk outside, there are plenty of places to shop and eat.

We stayed 2 nights at the Coast Hotel in Seattle, and it was a lot of fun. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of Seattle downtown, right next to the theaters, the great restaurants. It was so festive, and we got right into the Christmas mood. The only issue we had was parking was a expensive and the parking spots were tight. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were warm and inviting. We didn't have any problems with our room, the 2 beds were nice and comfortable, and the pillows were just right. We were lucky to have a room on the higher floors, so we had a great view of downtown Seattle. We would stay there again.

Just a couple of blocks from the station if you get the light link from the airport. Friendly staff, easy check in, lovely room. We upgraded our room which included use of the executive lounge. The lounge has complimentary hot & cold breakfast and evening snacks plus half price beer / wine between 5 & 7pm. There is coffee / tea and soft drinks available throughout the day. From the hotel you can walk to many of the attractions easily, although there are some quite steep hills going at to the hotel from the harbour. I would definitely stay here again.
