I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown for a business trip and came away with a very positive overall impression. The room was spacious, well laid out, and spotlessly clean. The TV offered a great selection of channels, and the bathroom was also clean, with good space and high-quality amenities. It’s clear that the hotel maintains a strong standard when it comes to comfort and upkeep. Breakfast was solid, good food and generous portions and Philip who served me was a delight - though I did find it a bit on the expensive side. What really stood out was the staff. Cam at reception was an absolute rock star, and Shawn from the management team was genuinely warm and attentive, taking the time to check in on how my stay was going. The bar and restaurant staff were consistently friendly and efficient, and even the housekeeping staff in the lobby made a point to greet guests with a smile. The only drawback was the air conditioning unit in my room, which was quite noisy at night. Shawn kindly offered to move me to another room, which I appreciated, but since the temperature was mild, I chose to simply turn it off. The location is another big plus—within easy walking distance of the waterfront piers and surrounded by a great selection of bars and restaurants. Overall, a very solid choice in downtown Seattle, especially for business travel.

“Nice hotel with friendly staff”

The lady who checked us in at the front desk was superb and very helpful. The hotel was well lit and clean, and so was the room. I would definitely stay again at this hotel

We booked a 3 night stay at the Crowne Plaza, as we were touring the West Coast of the USA. We flew into Seattle Tacoma International Airport from San Francisco and had no problem in quickly finding the taxi rank, just outside the arrivals hall at the airport and paid around $40 for the 20 minute ride to the hotel. Externally, the hotel presents as a slim skyscraper-type building of perhaps 35 floors or so. We had made our reservation through Booking.com and got a great price (just under $400 for 3 nights, with a complimentary upgrade to a Space Needle view room). On entry, we were in a pleasant lobby-area, with the restaurant and bar on a balcony on the mezzanine level, overlooking the foyer. There is a self-service shop next to the reception desk, stocked with snacks, soft drinks, beers and wine. Our check-in was efficient and we were allocated a room on the 27th floor. The elevators are unique in that you scan your room key and it allocates one of the 3 elevators, which arrives and is already pre-programmed to take you to your floor. On entering our room, we had a spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower, wc and a range of toiletries. The bedroom was spacious, with a double-bed, sofa, desk, chair, beside cabinets and excellent lighting. The view from our window was spectacular (particularly so at night), overlooking downtown skyscrapers towards the iconic Space Needle. The room was equipped with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, digital safe, large flat-screen TV and excellent aircon. There was ample hanging space in the wardrobe and plenty of storage space in drawers. The property has recently been fully refurbished and the standard of housekeeping was immaculate throughout. Staff were friendly and engaging. Principal sightseeing-tour companies pick-up at the hotel, which is just a few blocks (10 min walk) away from the harbour with all of it's attractions including Pike Place Market, boat tours, piers and Ferris wheel. There are a good number of restaurants within a few minutes stroll, including a London Pub style bar (The Elephant and Castle), an excellent high-end Italian Restaurant (Camile's) and a Brazilian steak restaurant ( Fogo do Chao). We'd highly recommend the Crowne Plaza as an excellent base from which you can explore Seattle

“Nice hotel and staff let down by city management”

Stayed after 23 day cruise around America. The room and staff were the high standard expected of Crowne Plaza. Nice hotel and staff however will not visit Seattle again. Stayed after 23 day cruise around America. The room and staff were the high standard expected of Crowne Plaza. Nice hotel and staff however will not visit Seattle again. The downtown Macy's had closed it doors, the information office was closed during business hours on a weekday. Got the feeling we were viewed as walking wallets, as we did not bother going up the space needle as we could not be bothered shelling out $98 USD to see the tent city below (yes, your international reputation precedes you!).
