“Wonderful stay”

LOCATION The design aesthetics of the hotel are pretty, the staff were friendly, and it is located right next to Pike Place Market. It is also located right down the street from Westlake Station. HOTEL ROOM I stayed for 3 nights in one of the King rooms. The room was clean and cute, but the mini fridge advertised was full of drinks and could not be used for your own items. I barely was able to fit a 20 oz. pop bottle in it. They had two glass bottles of water in the room priced at $13 a piece and absolutely nowhere in the hotel to fill up a water bottle (other than your hotel room sink) and as far as I know nowhere to get ice. The TV had cable and as for video streaming applications it only had Youtube, Tubi, PlutoTV, and XumoPlay and no option to download others. The thermostat in the room was functional and easy to use. I was able to quickly and easily adjust the temperature in my room. The lights were also dimmable. The shower head was amazing, and the complimentary robe was nice and thick (you can also take it home for around $80). All of the toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo, etc.) are from Diptyque. Despite having two blinds on each window, they did not block out all the light and lots of light filtered through in the morning. NOISE LEVEL The location near Pike Place Market means that the street below the hotel is loud far into the night as I was even able to at times hear the conversations of people walking down the sidewalk (I was on the 3rd floor). The floor above me creaked constantly and loudly all throughout the day and night. I can deal with people walking above me, but this creaking was incredibly loud and woke me up periodically. FOOD There is a restaurant/bar in the hotel that you can order room service from at different time intervals throughout the day. Expensive and not good in my opinion. There are many restaurants nearby though and you can easily collect food deliveries by meeting the deliverer in the lobby. Right around the corner about a minute away is a Mr.Waffle where you can conveniently get breakfast. PRICING When I checked in, I was told a hold of $100 would be added to the price and removed when I checked out. I was surprised to see that I had been charged far more than I expected, but I decided to refrain from bringing it up until I checked out and got an itemized receipt. Once I checked out, I checked the receipt and around $300 had dropped off the initial charge from the check-in day. The final price that I ended up paying was the price I had originally expected. I am not sure why I was told a $100 hold and then it ended up being $300, but thankfully it did drop off. Figured I would mention anyway. Additional Note: The elevator could be accessed by anyone. It is not the kind where you have to use your keycard to operate it.
