I can honestly say the Fairfield Marriott has one of the warmest, most dedicated teams I’ve ever encountered. Every single stay feels personal, and that’s because of the amazing people who work here. Karen Fom always starts my mornings off right with her cheerful “good morning” and genuine warmth. She consistently asks if there’s anything more she can do to make my stay better, and she means it. That kind of sincerity is rare—and appreciated. Joey, assistant housekeeping, is truly an asset to the hotel. In the middle of a storm, she even offered to help clean out my car—who does that? She’s incredibly kind, thoughtful, and hardworking. Joanne from the kitchen is another standout. I don’t usually eat breakfast at hotels, but I always do here when they have Silk yogurt. When they ran out, she went out of her way to get more and made sure there was enough to last my entire stay. That level of care goes above and beyond. And Brittany, the general manager—how often does a GM come out just to say hello? Brittany did! That genuine connection says everything about her leadership. Da’vonna made me feel like we’d known each other for years. Her friendly energy and warm personality made every interaction feel like talking to a sister. She’s a gem. And Tina—thank you for keeping the hotel spotless! My room always looked immaculate. The bed especially looked so inviting after she was done that it felt like coming home every day. I could go on and on about how incredible this staff is, but I’ll end it here: this hotel is a true 10 out of 10. The people make all the difference, and this team makes every stay exceptional.

Emily Barrett she went above and beyond for us to make sure we were taken care of from the first booking to our last day.. Karen Nielsen also took very good care of our needs from getting us in our room early to making sure we didn’t want for anything ! I highly recommend Fairfield Inn and suites of Watertown NY!

“Great desk staff”

The start of our stay at this hotel was rough. It took 3 rooms to get one that had a working a/c unit. The final room turned out to be fine and quiet. The start of our stay at this hotel was rough. It took 3 rooms to get one that had a working a/c unit. The final room turned out to be fine and quiet. Everyone we interacted with at the desk was especially nice and helpful. Housekeeping on the other hand never cleaned our room. We had to go to the desk and get towels and tp and the desk person apologized profusely. It really wasn't a big deal but without our asking they told management and the hotel sent us an apology for our troubles (and points). That is good customer service. Kudos! Overall a good stay and we would return if in the area.

The hotel and room felt modern. The room was big with a comfortable bed/pillows. Sound proofing was a bit poor. I could hear every step (and jump) my upstairs neighbor took. A couple nice touches: They handed out cookies at checkin. And there was a nice spread of toppings (nuts, fruit, seeds) for oatmeal at breakfast. The area outside of the hotel smelled strongly of cow manure at the time of my visit, but that seemed true of that entire part of Watertown. And the smell was not an issue inside the hotel. I would stay here again.
