Great location. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars, so no driving. Or there is a wonderful restaurant and bar right there off the lobby. We toured a historic art gallery space and went to the Rivole historic cinema. Walked to that as well. Fun and revitalizing city. The hotel was quiet, clean, friendly staff, and has an indoor pool and whirlpool. You can access it from the 2nd floor so you don't need to drip through the lobby. Rooms have 2 queen beds on the river side with that view or the king bedrooms look over the city, so pretty at night. Loved the river walk that runs right behind the hotel.

“Great Place!”

Friendly staff - even with a large group in the conference center and a ton of kids in for a basketball tournament. The river walk was a terrific resource for walking in the unseasonably warm day. Will definitely go back.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which also operates as a conference center, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. When booking a property designed for business and events, you reasonably expect a clean, professional environment that supports productivity. That was not the case here. The cleanliness was an issue. The floors in my room were visibly dirty and sticky. I felt compelled to go out and purchase a Swiffer just to make the space tolerable. That’s not something any guest should have to do. Our bed looked like someone had slept in it. The sheets were clean but the overall making of the bed was sloppy. The “dust ruffle” or boxspring cover was on the floor on one side of the bed. We had to tuck it in. To avoid tripping over it. The refrigerator had what appeared to be black mold on the back of the shelf and the door edges. There were also ongoing renovations during my stay, which I was never informed about at the time of booking. This led to noise, disruption, and an overall lack of the calm, work-friendly atmosphere one would expect. To make matters worse, there was a period of over an hour where the hotel had no water at all, with no communication of this at check in. Customer service was also lacking. The daytime front desk staff were unhelpful and came across as inconvenienced by even basic requests. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was bothering them. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. Rather than collecting used towels as expected, staff rolled a cart outside the room and asked us to place the towels in it ourselves. This level of service is simply not acceptable for any hotel, let alone one that markets itself as a conference center. Overall, this stay was disappointing. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor communication about renovations, service issues, and basic operational failures, I would not recommend this property—especially for business or conference travel.
