Stayed for 4D3N - 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Amazing stay :) Check in - Jessie was the one who helped us, very friendly. We arrived early and was escorted to our room at around 2pm. Food - we had a chance to try the restaurant just next to the lobby after check in. Food was nice. And we were happy that the kids utensils are kept in a storage box to ensure hygiene. For breakfast, a lot of selections such as bimbibap, sandwiches, pho, you name it! Room - fabulous! No bad smell from drainage. Not much mosquito. Bed sheets are clean. No stain in sinks or toilet counter top. Everything is perfect. Gym - open 24 hours, they got the major equipment such as treadmill and barbells, environment is clean and machines are well maintained. Kids especially enjoyed the play room as there are quite a lot of activities to join such as Vietnamese folk games, kite flying, fish feeding and recycled art. They were so happy after collecting enough number of stamps to have a turtle doll.

We loved this place! On offer were 4 huge pools, plenty of sun lounges, fresh and tasty food, great staff with a beautiful beach. We treated ourselves with a large room, which was the executive suite. It had a huge bedroom and ensuite, a living area with couches and a 4 seat dining table and a separate little kitchenette. The breakfast buffet was brilliant! Every kind of cuisine was on offer! We also had the Vietnamese evening buffet, that was also good. We ate in the restaurant and also at the beach bar, both were good. The beverages and food we had pool side, also nice, especially the iced coconut coffee! The gym was had good equipment, we hired a tennis court and also two push bikes. All in good working order and clean. We had numerous treatments at the spa and they were all relaxing and soothing. If you go, make sure you get up early for a sunrise beach walk! It can be stunning. If you like coffee, speak with Jeremy the restaurant manager. He can advise you how to drink the Vietnamese coffee. We also did the free coffee making course which I loved so much I bought myself a Vietnamese coffee maker!! The staff were all very friendly and the rooms service was usually done while we were at breakfast! The bathroom was fully stocked with all amenities. Which meant we came back to a fresh room after breakfast ! The rooms were clean, well air conditioned and very comfortable. We would definitely go back to this resort!! Great value for the Aussie dollar! We also enjoyed it as it was 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Da Nang. It was a very relaxing atmosphere!

“Beautiful resort in peaceful location”

Fabulous resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The rooms are all villa style with great facilities inside the rooms - really spacious. We stayed in a 2bedroom 2 floor villa, some are all on one level. The way the resort is laid out there really is no bad location all rooms are well situated. There is a buggy service around resort to reception/beach but really nothing more than a few mins walk away. The breakfasts are probably one of the best we’ve experienced in any 5 star hotel. So much choice of both western and local, and our teens were especially happy with the ice cream at breakfast! And the pastries and bread are as perfect as anything I’ve tasted in a Parisian bakery - absolutely delicious! Staff are all helpful, attentive and welcoming. We were 25 mins from Hoi An and 10 mins from My Khe Beach, easily accessed via grab. the hotel was a welcoming peaceful sanctuary after a day exploring. Highly recommended.

“There’s better out there”

I had high hopes for this place. Although it’s gorgeous and perfect for a large family, it’s not worth the money and it feels insanely crowded for a resort. I had high hopes for this place. Although it’s gorgeous and perfect for a large family, it’s not worth the money and it feels insanely crowded for a resort. The staff is very nice and helpful too but organization overall is not great. I booked the largest house, one of the seven 4 bedroom villas. I’m not even sure how it fits 10 people because there aren’t enough beds or a pull out sofa. They also don’t do roll in beds. For a family of 9, we are stretched quite thin with 2 adults sleeping on one of the twin mattresses. The villa was clean and had mostly everything we needed. The stove in the kitchen is unusable and there’s no way to heat up food. Front desk said that the stove was from previous resort and we can’t actually use it. During our stay, housekeeping was great and so were the staff. The hotel itself just does not feel like it has enough staff for summer or needs more organization. Almost like they’ve stretched themselves too thin and can’t accommodate the amount of guests. The size of the resort is huge and going end to end in the summer is difficult so they offer a ride to guests in golf carts (buggies) 24/7. In theory, it’s a great way to get around but I’d be sitting and waiting around all the time to get from one place to another. One time our family of 9 waited 45 minutes for them and they forgot then sent two cars. Twice — other pushy families have tried to cut in front of us and take our buggy since there’s no one tracking or keeping track of which room goes first. That was a major inconvenience during our stay since the hot weather is a major factor for needing rides from place to place. During exit I requested a buggy for luggage multiple times and they never even showed up. The system is just a little chaotic and needs some refinement. The hotel itself is immaculate and resort is well kept, has tons of amenities. The buffet has an incredible selection but it gets so crowded that waiters are sparse. Service depends on the crowd which is not great for a five star resort even though I know they’re trying their best to accommodate everyone. Spa has incredible facilities and my massage was good. The gym is also really nice and clean. Randomly while we were at the pool — they were laying out some flooring for the pool floor. Workers just jumped in fully clothed to do it while people were in the pool. All in all, if I had to do it again — I’d pass on this Marriott unless you have no other options for a villa in Da Nang. It is a little too chaotic for a resort.
