The hotel has a beuatiful,picturesque location, it’s not too far away from Da Nang. The breakfast is delicious, you can choose from different traditional meals, like soups and dumplings everyday, as well as western food. The check in and check out were also pretty smooth. The staff is really kind and helpful.The rooms are clean they aren’t noisy, they also have really nice view. All in all Son Tra Resort felt like a real paradise hidden in the jungle and only 20 min Grab ride away from the hustle and bustle of the city,the best choice to enjoy both worlds.

Song Tra Resort & Spa is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for peace and relaxation. I stayed in a spacious two-bedroom villa just 15 metres from the beach, and the setting was simply stunning. The resort is beautifully nestled between the lush jungle of the Sơn Trà Peninsula and a gorgeous private sandy beach, creating a tranquil atmosphere that’s perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of Da Nang. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel well looked after throughout my stay. If you’re after a quiet beachfront retreat surrounded by nature, I couldn’t recommend this resort more highly. I definitely hope to stay here again on a future visit to Vietnam.

The location is outstanding – a beautiful and peaceful place for anyone looking to relax away from the busy city. Our villa was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a stunning view and a private pool. The surrounding nature is breathtaking, the beach is beautiful, and the entire resort truly feels like a tropical paradise. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and overall we had a truly wonderful holiday. Unfortunately, our stay did not start well. Although our reservation clearly stated that it was for 2 adults and 1 child, with the price calculated for 3 guests, we were informed at check-in that breakfast and dinner were included for the adults only and that we would have to pay extra for meals for our 3-year-old child. This created unnecessary stress at the very beginning of our holiday. After several discussions and email exchanges with the hotel management, the issue was eventually resolved, and breakfast and dinner were also provided for our child at no additional charge. We appreciate that the hotel corrected the situation, but it is disappointing that a holiday has to begin with such confusion. Another disappointment concerned a special birthday surprise I had arranged for my daughter. I had pre-booked a floating breakfast to celebrate her birthday, but during check-in, the receptionist, Vivian, asked me to pay for it in front of my daughter, completely ruining the surprise. To the hotel's credit, they later tried to make up for this. They waived the charge for the floating breakfast and, on my daughter's birthday morning, surprised her with a beautiful birthday cake and a large balloon. It was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Nevertheless, situations like this should be handled much more professionally and discreetly by the staff. Finally, we were disappointed with the condition of the tiles in our private pool. Several tiles were damaged and had sharp edges. On the very first day, our 3-year-old child cut her foot on one of the broken tiles, causing a small bleeding wound and leaving her in tears. The maintenance team came several times to replace some of the damaged tiles, but the problem was never fully resolved. Our child continued to scratch her feet on the remaining sharp edges during our stay. A safety issue like this around a private pool is not acceptable and should be addressed immediately. Despite these issues, this is a truly beautiful resort, and we would gladly return in the future. I sincerely hope the management will improve communication with guests and address the safety issues, because otherwise this resort genuinely deserves the highest rating.
