Great hotel for family. We rented one of the villas and mentioned for my parents’ anniversary. They did make their room with a beautiful Swans sculpture from towels. The kids enjoy the private pool at the villa but they love the slides at the main pool location. They had a blast! Location is great as well, walking distance to Grand World, about 10 mins. I just wished that I come here not during rainy season. We stayed for 6 days, raining every single day except the last day, where I finally saw the sun. Other than the weather, we enjoyed our stay at the resorts, the includes breakfast buffet was great, staffs are very attentive. Transportation using the golf cart to/from villa were quick. Only have to wait 5 minutes at most. Again, only wish the weather were more favorable so we can enjoy other activities available at the beach.

We had a fantastic stay! This all-inclusive resort offers an abundance of delicious food and drinks, with plenty of variety to suit everyone. The water park is fantastic for children, and the entire resort is spotless, well maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is excellent, just a short distance from VinWonders Theme Park and Grand World, making it easy to explore the area’s attractions. A special thank you to Thuy, who was by far the friendliest staff member we met. She was always smiling, incredibly helpful, and so lovely to chat with. As it was our first time visiting Phu Quoc, she made us feel so welcome and was always happy to answer our questions and offer assistance. Her kindness and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. One thing for families to be aware of is that children must be at least 140 cm tall to use the resort’s waterslides. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend this resort to families and couples looking for a relaxing, all-inclusive getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Title: Our family of four (with a 4 and 6-year-old) had a memorable stay at the Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc. There were some absolute highlights to our trip, but also several operational issues that management needs to address. Overall, we would rate it a 7/10. The Highlights: The Incredible Staff: Kuldeep at the breakfast buffet was a savior! She checked on us daily and even stood in line to get scrambled eggs for my husband while we were trying to balance two young kids. Hao at guest services was also fantastic—he helped us to our room, gave great local tips, and flawlessly organized an early 5:00 AM breakfast box for our departure day. Housekeeping was also incredibly fast to bring extra towels and blankets. Kids Club & Sauna: The Kids Club saved us! We dropped the kids off for an hour every day (they loved the covered outdoor sand area and activities), allowing us to enjoy the beautiful, clean sauna and spa facilities. The Beach: Absolutely beautiful, clear water, and great for finding small fish and shells. It is also a lovely walk down to Grand World. The Lowlights & Areas for Improvement: Front Desk & Billing Errors: At check-in, the receptionist couldn't answer my questions on how to handle our 1,500,000 VND food voucher, and our family was entirely skipped for welcome drinks while a later group was served. Worse, during our 5:00 AM checkout, our paperwork wasn't ready and they mistakenly tried to charge us for that same 1,500,000 VND voucher. I’m glad I checked the bill closely or I would have overpaid. Pool Hazards & Water Issues: The kids loved the slides and foam parties at the kids pool. However, metal stairs leading up to the water slides get dangerously hot. We watched people burn their feet; you physically cannot walk up them barefoot, forcing you to slide down with your shoes on. Management needs to install heat-resistant mats immediately. Furthermore, the pool water occasionally had a metallic taste and permanently stained our swimsuits orange, which makes us question the chemical balance. Food Quality: The breakfast buffet (especially the Indian station) was good, and The Atlantis restaurant was decent. However, the dinner buffet is vastly overpriced and poor quality—we avoided it after the first night. Also, note for parents: the kids' menu hot dogs have a strong lemongrass flavor that picky eaters won't touch(Atlantis restaurant). Room Maintenance: We dealt with a cigarette smoke smell in our bathroom for two nights. To the hotel's credit, maintenance did resolve it quickly once we complained and followed up the next day. Our shower conditioner was also completely clumpy and unusable upon arrival (though quickly replaced). Ultimately, it is a massive resort with a lot of people, and we realized we prefer smaller properties. However, the frontline staff truly do their best to provide a great experience!
