“Elegant 125 year old hotel being refurbished”
The hotel is a really elegant old French colonial hotel, over 125 years old. When I walked into our suite, it took my breath away. “Characterful but a bit tired”
Amazing old building with lots of character. Some areas such as the gym and pool area felt like they needed renovating. Very helpful staff.

“Good value but past its best”
The rooms are nice, large and clean but the hotel seems to be hanging onto its glory days and not doing a very good job. Breakfast is ok but so busy it’s like being at a conference or tour hotel.
