We paid about NZ$80/ night ( about US$47 or IN₹4150) through Agoda. I would say a little expensive compared to all other places we stayed throughout this trip. It’s a nice and decent hotel. Clean room and bathroom. good sized. Usual amenities provided. Those who are new to Vietnam hotels, you get toothbrushes, comb, cotton buds, shower cap, shaving razors plus more amenities is many hotels. Shower pressure was sooo good. Staff is super friendly and helpful with their local tips. Breakfast was included and it’s a small nice spread and there’s a menu from which you can order. Our room had balcony and had 2 sliding glass doors so when closed no outside noise. Location is good in terms of exploring the city.

“This is the best hotel to book in Hanoi”

Amazing hotel in a fabulous location, set in the old town just a few minutes walk to the lake and beer street. Very happy with the breakfast on the top floor also the rooftop bar . We booked the family room for the extra space but we’re a bit disappointed with the view. The balcony was very small… more

Amazing hotel in a fabulous location, set in the old town just a few minutes walk to the lake and beer street. Very happy with the breakfast on the top floor also the rooftop bar . We booked the family room for the extra space but we’re a bit disappointed with the view. The balcony was very small overlooking buildings & roofs . ( if booking ask for a street view room ) The room had a large double bed and a single bed .very spacious & clean . Apart from that I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Hanoi . The main thing that stands out for this hotel is the staff , they made us feel very welcome & comfortable. They answered any questions we had , nothing was too much trouble. A big Thank you to Nancy and all the team at Media . We will miss you

We stayed here for a few days, the place is great, the rooms are clean however there was not much storage space, there is a safe hair dryer toothbrush etc.. There is a rooftop bar which is great with views over the lake, and where you can have your breakfast which as well as the buffet there are other options to choose from that will be cooked for you. There are free massages. The location is probably the centre of the old quarter. The staff are all young and went above and beyond in their service level.

The location is good, right in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Step out of the front door of the hotel and you're confronted by 'Hanoi'. The location is good, right in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Step out of the front door of the hotel and you're confronted by 'Hanoi'. Right in the hustle and bustle with shops, restaurants and crazy traffic buzzing around. Hotel staff were friendly, although trying to sell their trips as much as possible. The room we had was within the hotel, and that meant there was no natural light. There was a window in the room, and one in the bathroom, bit no natural light ca through. With the lights switched off the room was in complete darkness. So, if you're staying in this hotel try and get a room either at the front or back to get natural light.
