“Cheerful and welcoming”

We stayed 4 nights at the Keypad Hotel 24 Hang Ga (formerly Rising Dragon Hotel) in the deluxe double room (with a bath). The room was at the back of the hotel with no outlook (except into a lightwell) and so was very quiet. There was no noise from other rooms either. The bed was very comfortable… more

“Great hotel on a great location”

Hotel in old quater of Hanoi has the best location, friendly stuff and big rooms. Breakfast was great. City of Hanoi is perfect. I realy enjoy it. If would stay there again. They organise transfer from the airport and it was the easiest way to get to the hotel.

“Good standart in Hanoi.”

Nothing special to expect from the hotel itself; even a bit boring. There is hotspot streets for tourists : Train Street, Beer Street, Theatre, Lakes, Ho Chi Minh Garded Tomb. & Museum, River (not much suitable for touring around), Galaxy cinema,

“Really good hotel”

We spent 3 nights here. The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our luggage when we went to Ha long bay and spend a little time here before departure to the airport. Our room was good on the 6th floor overlooking the street. Maybe a little noisy, but what do you exp… more

“Budget hotel, compact rooms, friendly staff”

Location is good in old quarter area. Many restaurants nearby. We stayed in a superior double/ twin room but room was very small. It was impossible for one guest to use washroom without disturbing other guest. Staff was very helpful. Quickly helped us with airport cab, nearby shop information an… more

Frequently asked questions about Rising Dragon Palace Hotel

  • What are the top guest reviews of Rising Dragon Palace Hotel?

The top reviews of Rising Dragon Palace Hotel are: We stayed 4 nights at the Keypad Hotel 24 Hang Ga (formerly Rising Dragon Hotel) in the deluxe double room (with a bath). The room was at the back of the hotel with no outlook (except into a lightwell) and so was very quiet. There was no noise from other rooms either. The bed was very comfortable, with a soft mattress. Everything was very clean and the room was serviced daily. The bath took a while to fill as the hot water supply needed to re-heat, but it was worth the wait to enjoy this rare (in Vietnam) luxury. The location is really great for exploring the historic centre, which is what we did for 3 days. The location is close to some of the (relatively) more authentic streets, which we really enjoyed exploring, finding a “favourite” coffee house (Blackbirds), and just generally hanging out. It’s also walking distance to all the tourist main attractions. What really takes this hotel from very good to great, as always, is the service. We looked forward to coming through the door to a cheerful “welcome back” and heading off to the sound of “enjoy your day”. The staff’s cheerfulness, whether talking to guests or among themselves, is wonderfully infectious. The included breakfast was really good (and would be well worth paying the $5 for if it isn’t included in your rate) and the equally cheerful chef was happy to whip up an alternative vegan option for us. Most staff spoke excellent English and all were very helpful with our requests and, in particular, the laundry service was cheap, efficient and good quality..
