I have stayed at the Avi Airport hotel once for 1 night and second time 3 days later for about an approximate 10 hours stay. When I booked it for the first night,I didn't realize I took the budget room,so the room was small...However, looking at the positives,the room was clean,and so were the bed linens and towels, and there were no insects in the room, which in many 5 stars hotel its impossible to achieve. I wouldn't recommend it for someone travelling with a child,for example. However,on my return trip, I have realised that for about 3 usd more,I can have a better room, which I took. It was a lovely surprise.The room was much bigger then the standard room in many 3 or 4 stars hotels,with everything clean and windows that could be opened. Its actually cheaper then taking the sleeping pod at the airport, literally 5 minutes away and 60.000 dongs one way taxi fare, toll charge included.(thats less then 3 USD).Unlike taking the sleeping pod, staying at Avi Airport hotels means the opportunity of freshing up, repacking if needed, walking outside a bit. Hot water was available at all hours and the wifi worked perfectly! The staff is friendly and accomodating. Fruits are being sold outside the hotel and there are small reastaurants just steps away,however I have not tried them. I would recommend the hotel for any kind of travelers.

“Great little hotel near the airport”

We needed a place to stay for the night since my group was separating that night so I decided to stay in Avi. I`m glad I did. The rooms are nice and on the large side. We needed a place to stay for the night since my group was separating that night so I decided to stay in Avi. I`m glad I did. The rooms are nice and on the large side. The owner and family are very nice and helpful. They really make you feel like your at home in a very countryside, local spot. There`s a cool local market across the street from the hotel. Out of the 2 weeks of traveling in Vietnam, I think it was the best market I visited. Nothing tourist about the place. Just people working and living there lives day in and day out. Very friendly too, even it feels like they don`t get many foreigners around there. There`s also a great pho shop just across and down the street an incredible bowl of noodles for breakfast! And extremely cheap. Only negative was the bathroom. It definitely has a bathroom smell to it. I got over it pretty quickly though. My father took a little longer... Great place if you need a room the night near the airport.
