My stay at Grand Mercure Danang was truly a remarkable 5-star experience, combining luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. The property stands out not only for its premium facilities but also for its breathtaking views and excellent location. Check-in & Arrival Experience The arrival experience was smooth and welcoming. Rooms & Comfort The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities. The highlight was the stunning view of the Han River, which added a unique charm to the stay—especially during sunrise and at night when the city lights reflect beautifully on the water. Food & Dining – Excellent Breakfast Spread The breakfast experience was truly exceptional and deserves special mention. The spread was extensive, offering a perfect blend of international cuisine and authentic Vietnamese dishes. The quality, freshness, and presentation of food were outstanding. From freshly prepared items to a wide variety of healthy options, everything was well-curated and delicious. Dining at the hotel consistently met high standards, making it one of the highlights of the stay. Service & Staff – True 5-Star Hospitality The service at Grand Mercure Danang was outstanding. The staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. Facilities & Amenities The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a well-maintained swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and comfortable common areas. Cleanliness & Hygiene Hygiene standards across the hotel were impeccable. Location & Accessibility – A Major Advantage The hotel enjoys a very good location, offering easy access to key attractions in Da Nang. Its riverside setting provides a peaceful environment while still being conveniently connected to the city’s main areas. Overall Experience Grand Mercure Danang delivers a complete luxury experience. With its excellent property, awesome river views, outstanding breakfast, and exceptional service, it truly lives up to its 5-star reputation. We’ve now stayed at every major Accor property in Da Nang and keep coming back to the Grand Mercure. This visit confirmed it - this is simply the best hotel in the city, and it comes down to one thing above everything else: the staff. What set the tone for the entire stay happened at check-in. Without us saying a word, staff recognised us as returning guests from the previous year. That kind of genuine attention is rare anywhere in the world, let alone at this price point. It immediately makes you feel like you belong here rather than just passing through. We want to personally call out Ms Anh, Mr Nguyen and Ms Tu for absolutely fabulous service throughout our stay in the Privilege Lounge. These three are the embodiment of what genuine hospitality looks like and are a credit to the property. The lounge has improved noticeably since our last visit. Hot food items have been added, the cocktails are strong and well made - the Long Island Iced Tea is excellent - and the lounge staff are warm and engaged throughout. The Golden Dragon restaurant on level 2 deserves a special mention. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is genuinely warm and welcoming. It has a way of making you feel like part of a family rather than a hotel guest, which is a rare quality. The spa services are also excellent and reasonable priced. The hotel is slightly outside the main city strip but honestly this is a non-issue. Grab is cheap and arrives within a minute or two, so you are never far from anywhere you want to be. A note for non-Platinum Accor members - even if you don’t have Accor status, just book a room with lounge access. The experience the team delivers makes it absolutely worth it. We will keep coming back to the Grand Mercure because the amazing team. Highly recommended without hesitation.

This hotel is situated for a gorgeous view and is clean, modern and warm. We stayed longer than a week so we had long-stay privileges such as free laundry, discounted drinks and access to the lounge on the 21st floor. The staff on the 21st floor were fantastic particularly Ahn and Nguyen. They were both warm and friendly. Ahn has an excellent grasp of english and a great sense of humour. She was a delight to speak with and we were sad to say goodbye. If the hotel reads this I think Ahn would be an amazing concierge! Also a shout out for Huy who helped organize tours for us.
