Renaissance Danang Hoi An Resort & Spa was one of our favourite resort experiences from all our travels. The entire stay felt special. The beautiful property, the peaceful location, the gorgeous pool, the immaculate grounds, and above all, the exceptional staff all came together to create a truly memorable week. The staff were absolutely outstanding. Every single person we encountered was friendly, helpful, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. Jeonie, Hannah, Ly, Giang, and all of the staff we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. From the front desk to the restaurant, pool, and housekeeping teams, everyone was exceptional. We loved the location. Being outside of Hoi An made the resort feel quieter and less touristy, while still making it easy to get into town with the hotel shuttle or Grab, which was simple and inexpensive. As runners, we also appreciated being able to find easy running routes through nearby villages and along the coast. The resort itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The grounds, rooms, pool area, and common spaces were immaculate. We spent almost every afternoon by the gorgeous pool, which was always clean, with chairs and cabanas refreshed quickly after guests left. The beach is right by the resort, and the large lawn area adds to the relaxed, peaceful feel of the property. As Bonvoy Titanium Elite members, we appreciated the included breakfast buffet and the beautiful welcome gifts waiting for us in our room. There is no elite lounge at this property, but the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a large seating area, delicious food, and small changes to the buffet each day. We stayed in a Junior Suite for the week, which was spacious and well appointed, with plenty of bottled water replenished daily, coffee supplies, and a lovely deck accessible from both the bedroom and living room. The only minor issue was that the ensuite toilet occasionally had a sewer smell, but we bought an air freshener and that took care of it. The sea view is currently affected by construction work to shore up a barrier protecting the resort from typhoons, so the water looked a little murky at times, but overall the setting was still beautiful. We did find the restaurant somewhat expensive, though the quality was good and the pricing was not unreasonable for a resort. A special bonus is what’s directly across the street: Mini Mart Hạnh Uyên, Spa Hoa Ly, and Khói 87. We bought items from the mini mart daily, had multiple massages at Spa Hoa Ly, and enjoyed wonderful home-cooked meals and a fantastic cooking class at Khói 87, which became one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, this is an incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and well-run resort with exceptional staff and a setting that made it hard to leave. We would happily stay here again.

The food selection was incredible, with a perfect mix of fresh local flavors and international options. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. What made our mornings truly special, however, was the exceptional hospitality we received. We want to give a huge, heartfelt shout-out to Ms. Thanh Thao at the breakfast buffet. She is incredibly attentive, professional, and always welcomed us with the warmest, most genuine smile. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, making us feel so well taken care of and valued as guests. Her outstanding service truly elevated our entire dining experience and added so much joy to our trip. Thank you, Ms. Thanh Thao, and the wonderful culinary team at Renaissance. We cannot wait to return!
