This hotel has its pros and cons. Firstly, it is relatively new, which means the furniture is in good shape, the rooms are relatively bright / modern. The price is reasonable for the tourist strip (but you can get much cheaper Vietnamese standard hotels by going a few blocks further back from the beach). It is one block behind the main road (sort of on an alley way, narrow passage) which means it is not quite as noisy as hotels on the strip. That said, Nha Trang is noisy, and the main road running along the waterfront is rarely not busy, even late into the night. With the windows closed and airconditioning on, it is fine, except when they are doing construction during the day on the other new hotels that are being built nearby. One of my initial problems was that nowhere does it say when booking that the standard rooms are windowless. When I first arrived, I was quite disappointed to have no window, but other colleagues staying with us had window rooms and complained of noise. That said, most of the noise problems were in the corridors of the hotel, where loud groups of Chinese and Russian tourists seem to carry out parties late into the night and had early flight departures (4am onwards). There is not much the hotel could have done about this, so it was not their fault. When I arrived, the hotel was fully booked for the night, so no upgrade was possible to a window room. It took us a good half hour to get checked in, even though there was no one else waiting with us at the check-in desk and there were three or four staff on duty (we were a group of 4, so not a huge task). Not sure the problem, but it simply took that long to photocopy passports, sort out room keys, figure out which rooms were still available/clean/ready etc. If this had been an early check-in, I would have understood, but it was 7pm in the evening! When I got to my room, there was someone else's trash in my bin, and the following day the cleaning staff got into my fridge and helped themselves to some of my fruit, leaving my room door open and rags on the floor (and taking a blouse I had hanging in my bathroom). Of course I was upset, as I had left computer/phone/money etc in my room for the entire day when I was out, and it could easily have been stolen with the door left open. This should never happen, and the quality control manager was equally upset, coming up immediately to take photos and apologise. The next day I was upgraded to a lovely seaview room, and the manager accompanied the cleaning staff whenever they went into my room for the remainder of my stay. I was very grateful for the good service, as were the rest of my team who also had rooms at the hotel. We were especially impressed with the breakfast staff, as we did not like the breakfast buffet (it was mainly geared to Chinese and Russians with lots of meat, starches etc). When we asked for juice without sugar, and fruit, they were brought to us every morning. One of the girls, I. Nguyen was particularly helpful, always smiling and remembering our breakfast preferences without being told. The front desk staff and managers were also very nice, would definitely return to this hotel on our next business trip to Nha Trang.

A lot of good things to say about this hotel. One or two not so good. It is a proper hotel. Full size rooms and a lot of fixtures etc in the room you would normally expect in a much more expensive hotel. The room was a really good size. A lot of good things to say about this hotel. One or two not so good. It is a proper hotel. Full size rooms and a lot of fixtures etc in the room you would normally expect in a much more expensive hotel. The room was a really good size. And as someone lese has noted the pillows are some of the best you can get in Vietnam. There are 3 fast modern lifts.. The few disappointments are : 1) the access road which is just a ‘lane’ and which is a disappointing way to approach such an hotel 2) the bathroom sink hardly gives any water, just a trickle 3) the fridge in the room never really gets properly cold even when it has been working for some hours Overall, the disappointing features are ‘liveable with’. The hotel is ecellent value for money.
