We were welcomed with a lovely cold drink and smiling reception staff who quickly got us settled into our room. The room itself was spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and a fabulous view across the bay to the mountains beyond. The air conditioning was both effective and surprisingly quiet, always a bonus in Vietnam. Breakfast was good overall, with an extensive selection on offer. Unfortunately, some fellow guests rather spoiled the experience through sheer greed. One couple even took the entire contents of a watermelon platter to their already overflowing table. We also noticed a huge amount of food waste each morning. In the end, we gave up on the hotel breakfast altogether and chose to eat locally instead. The hotel spa was excellent. I treated myself most days because the prices were incredibly reasonable and the staff were genuinely lovely. I would highly recommend the full body massage, facials, and hair washing treatments. The beach is directly opposite the hotel, separated only by a road, although crossing it became our daily adrenaline challenge. The trick in Vietnam seems to be to hold your arm out confidently and walk slowly without stopping. Somehow the traffic flows around you. Reaching the other side still alive felt like a genuine achievement every single time. What we’ll remember most about our stay, though, is the people we met. Special thanks to Huong, Daisy, and Nam, who all went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. Huong even helped organise our day trip after she had already finished work for the day. Truly wonderful people who made our holiday feel very special.

It is a well-calibrated hub for those who value operational efficiency and the tactical necessity of shade when the tropics start burning out your autonomic nervous system. ​Location is a major asset. Tran Phu is right downstairs. Grab a green Vinfast taxi and you are at any vital coordinate—from the Long Son Pagoda to the medical cluster on Yersin Street—in a heartbeat. The ocean’s proximity provides a necessary breeze, a cooling relief when the city turns into a literal autoclave. ​The rooms have held up well. When my wife was hit by a heat stroke, this place functioned like a high-end recovery ward: consistent climate control, total isolation from the urban chaos, and orthopedic support that lets the spine decompress after a day of hiking the Cham towers. For a man with a fresh polypropylene mesh in his groin, these are not perks—they are physiological requirements. ​Breakfast is a high-capacity fuel depot. Everything from slow carbs to the specific type of coffee that jumpstarts the cortex before the first surgical incision. Cleanliness is at a clinical level, zero trace of the street grime found just a block away. ​My rating is 4.8. I am docking two-tenths for the typical Asian bottleneck at the elevators during peak hours. The rest is a solid baseline. Point.

“Modern but impersonal hotel”

This is a high rise hotel (which we knew in advance) so has a lot of rooms which makes it very busy. Our room is was quiet, large and modern. Lovely sea from the balcony. 28 floors so have to wait a while for a lift and with so many people can take a while to get up to or down from your room. … more

This is a high rise hotel (which we knew in advance) so has a lot of rooms which makes it very busy. Our room is was quiet, large and modern. Lovely sea from the balcony. 28 floors so have to wait a while for a lift and with so many people can take a while to get up to or down from your room. You have to pay a £50 deposit on arrival which is given back at end of stay. Can’t comment on staff as it was so busy you don’t get much interaction with them like smaller hotels. The hotel is on a very busy main road. Crossing it is difficult. Breakfast was very busy and not great compared to other hotels in Vietnam. We only stayed one night so cannot comment on facilities.
