The entertainment was incredible, especially the white night and silent disco, every theatre show we attended was enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the Crossing The Equator ceremony and baptism, the entertainment staff worked really hard throughout our cruise. The destinations were all interesting and enjoyable to visit, we don’t usually book excursions when cruising but decided to on this cruise as the prices are more affordable. What surprised us is on the majority of tours you actually visit more than is stated when booking, for example we booked to see Christ The Redeemer including transfer to airport only but we ended up visiting Copacabana also.The evening meals were always excellent and enjoyable, our waiter memorised my preferences which was useful. There was always a delicious vegetarian option in the evening at the main restaurant. The ship is well designed, it have been built some time ago but the build quality on Costa Pacifica was much higher than for example P&O Arvia. The decor at first can be a bit intense but after a few days we got used to it. Our room was directly below the restaurant but we were never disturbed by noise. The water toboggan was fun and surprisingly fast and we enjoyed visiting the free sauna, which nowadays is a rarity on cruise ships.Plenty of sunbeds, we always found a sunbed in the sun.The passengers on this cruise made this particular cruise even more enjoyable, due to the cruise sailing to Brazil, the majority of the passengers were Brazilian, they were all really fun to be around and always so positive, full of energy and friendly.
