The London Cruise Terminal at Tilbury in Essex is situated on the River Thames just 25 miles east of London and 7 miles from junction 31 of the M25. The M25 motorway, providing access from all parts of the country, is just seven miles away. Approximate journey time in good traffic conditions from central London and London City Airport is one hour; from London Gatwick Airport and from London Stansted Airport one hour fifteen minutes; and from London Heathrow two hours. Kirkwall (Orkney islands)

Kirkwall is the largest town and capital of the Orkney Islands archipelago, 10 miles off the north coast of Scotland. Founded around 1035, the City and Royal Burgh of Kirkwall is the capital and administrative centre of Orkney. The name comes from the Old Norse, which means church-bay and refers to a church older than the present day Cathedral. Some of the places you can visit are the Bishop's Palace & Earl's Palace, Highland Park Distillery, the Orkney Museum and St. Magnus Cathedral.

Runavik (Faroe Islands)

Runavík is a village in , Faroe Islands. It has an important port, originally used by fishing boats. The Faroe Islands are 18 islands in the northwest of Scotland, halfway between Iceland and Norway. The Islands are a self-governing island territory of Denmark and astand out due to their incredible nature and scenery, the fresh air, the deep blue ocean, the vertical sea cliffs and the green mountains, turning extraordinarily green in summertime.

Reykjavik (Iceland)

Iceland is the second biggest isle of Europe and it is known as the land of ice and fire. In the capital Reykjavik, you will find a very cosmopolitan city and adapted to the times. Isafjordur (Iceland)

Capital of the region of Westfjords. It is one of the most beautiful natural ports of the country. Offers attractive views of the mountain in a urban atmosphere. Akureyri (Iceland)

Akureyri is a town in northern Iceland. It is Iceland's second largest urban area (after the Greater Reykjavík area) and fourth largest municipality (after Reykjavík, Hafnarfjörður, and Kópavogur). Nicknamed the Capital of North Iceland, Akureyri is an important port and fishing centre. The area has a relatively warm climate due to geographical factors, and the town's ice-free harbour has played a significant role in its history. Sites that have been cited as areas of interest include various museums, churches, and the Botanical Gardens. Local museums include the Akureyri Museum, Akureyri Art Museum, Nonni house or Jón Sveinsson Memorial Museum, for the writer, David's house or Davíð Stefánsson Memorial Museum, for the poet), Akureyri Museum of Industry, a motorcycle museum,[and Aviation Museum. The most northerly botanical gardens and the most northerly 18 hole golf course in the world are in the town.The Nature Museum was is in the grounds of the Botanical Gardens.The Botanical Gardens are located in Spítalavegur. Large churches include the The church of Akureyri and The church of Glerá. Sundlaug Akureyrar is a swimming pool in Akureyri.

Seydisfjordur (Iceland)

A place of waterfalls and nature, Seydisfjordur is a town ful of creativity and rich in history. Inhabited by about 700 people the town acts as one big friendly family. Experience the flourishing art scen and try the delightful hiking trails and enjoy the local cuisine. Seydijofordur is surrounded by mountains with most prominent Mt. Bjólfur to the West (1085m) and Strandartindur (1010m) to the East. The fjord itself is accessible on each side from the town. The townis well known for its old wooden building and has a vibrant cultural scene with an arts centre, a Technical Museum and local heritage museum. The LungA art festival takes place in July and world-renowned artist Dieter Roth had a residence and art studio here. There are several waterfalls in the town. A popular hiking path starts at the town center, following the East bank of the Fjardará, the river that flows through the center of town. Further up the river there are 25 waterfalls.

Lerwick (Shetland Islands)

Lerwick is the capital of the principal island of Mainland, and is the most northern village of Britania. The atractions of the village include the old port, the city chamber, flower parks, in the outskirts the Pictish Broch in Clickimin, a prehistoric site that has a fortress of the Bronze Age.

A brand-wide anti-whaling policy, making it clear that Ambassador Cruise Line is opposed to all commercial whaling. As part of their pledge ORCA will be placing two Ocean Conservationists onboard Ambience and Ambition in 2024, on the sailings where it is indicated, to collect important scientific data in key areas, as well as delivering an enhanced onboard experience for guests so that they can deliver unforgettable wildlife experiences to all guests.

A review of all proposed Destination Experiences for guests in Iceland, Greenland, Norway and the Faroes and pledge to remove any activities that incorporate any form of whaling or offer the option to consume whale and dolphin products (e.g. restaurants serving whale meat), including not offering any experiences to Oceanariums (experiences that have captive marine mammals)

Ambience has thirteen cabins adapted for those needing mobility aids, and Ambition has two. Please note that to book one of these cabins you must contact us before making any booking on our website, as these cabins cannot be booked online. Ambassador Cruise Line warmly welcomes guests with disabilities, including those with mobility restrictions as well as restricted sight and hearing. However, with the very different nature of a cruising holiday when compared to one on land, and purely for safety reasons, such guests should be accompanied by an able-bodied, or a fully sighted/hearing companion (as appropriate), who will be responsible for providing any assistance that you may require both onboard and ashore. In addition to this, Ambasador Cruise Line welcomes guests who wish to bring a lightweight wheelchair/scooter with them for shore use only however, these must be stored in your cabin at all times and cannot be used on board the vessel in any circumstance.
